The Green Card draw is an annual draw for 55,000 US permanent residents, which has been conducted by the US Department of State since 1995. The draw is conducted among countries with historically low levels of legal immigration to the US. To participate, it is necessary to register a special application (this year between October 4 and November 7), the results of which will become clear in May of next year.
