Shoe materials // Cambrelle
Cambrelle (Typica) is a laminated non-woven material with remarkable hygroscopic properties. Cambrelle's ability to absorb liquid three times its own volume has made it indispensable in the production of insoles and linings for trekking shoes and outdoor footwear. Cambrelle prevents the growth of fungi and bacteria, which is especially important for sports shoes, clothing and furniture. Cambrelle is available in various densities and a wide range of colors. The material can have an additional hot-melt adhesive layer or a self-adhesive coating and be duplicated with porous, bulky materials.
